Calculus Readiness · Axiom Academy
You finished the Calculus Readiness course — and you are genuinely prepared for Calculus 1. This wasn't easy. You worked through arithmetic review, algebra fluency, function transformations, the unit circle, trig identities, and a real preview of limits — and you stuck with it. You are now genuinely prepared for Calculus 1. Not "kind of ready" — actually ready. The most common reason students struggle in Calculus is rusty algebra and trig. You just spent a full course removing exactly that obstacle. What You Accomplished Algebra Fluency Factoring, equations, inequalities, exponents, logs, and rational expressions — all reviewed and reinforced until they were second nature. The algebra you'll lean on in every single derivative and integral. What You Accomplished Function Mastery Domain, range, composition, inverses, transformations, and the major function families — the vocabulary of everything calculus does to a function. You can read, build, and reshape a function with confidence. What You Accomplished Trigonometry The unit circle, identities, graphs, and the relationships you'll lean on directly in derivatives and integrals. Trig stops being a wall and becomes a tool. What You Accomplished Limits Preview You met the fundamental object of calculus on your own terms — before it was ever your job to compute one. The first week of Calculus 1 will already feel familiar.
