EXAMPLE Exam Structure Walkthrough See exactly what to expect from start to finish The Complete 3-Hour 15-Minute Exam Proctors hand out materials. You review instructions. Don't start until told. Put away all unauthorized materials. Answer 15 multiple choice questions. Read carefully. No calculator allowed. Mark answers on bubble sheet. Answer 15 more multiple choice questions. Calculator is now allowed and encouraged. Verify your answers with computation. You typically get a 10-minute break. Use it to stretch, get water, and reset mentally. Proctors collect Section I materials. Answer 2 free response questions. Write solutions on paper. No calculator. Show all work. Explain your reasoning. Answer 4 more free response questions. Calculator allowed. Continue showing work. Attempt all questions even if partially complete. Pencils down. Proctor collects all materials. You're done! Debrief with classmates but don't obsess over answers. Multiple Choice (75 minutes, 45 points) You see a question stem followed by four options labeled (A), (B), (C), (D). Select the best answer.
