Limits of Sequences

AP Calculus · Axiom Academy

Determining whether a sequence converges or diverges means: for every , there exists N such that |a_n - L| N . In practice, use the same limit laws as for functions: L'Hopital's Rule, squeeze theorem, etc. A sequence converges if its terms approach a finite limit Bounded + monotonic convergent (Monotone Convergence Theorem) Squeeze theorem works for sequences just like for functions
