As of that date, the GRE Mathematics Subject Test is about 66 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 50 minutes, with roughly 50% calculus, 25% algebra, and 25% other undergraduate topics. Testing organizations change their formats, sometimes with little notice, and this course may not have caught up yet. Before you sit the GRE Mathematics Subject Test, confirm the current structure and rules on ETS. If anything here disagrees with the official source, the official source is right.

Recommended preparation
This exam spans the whole undergraduate major — Calculus, Real Analysis, and Abstract Algebra all appear. It is best taken as a capstone review.
